Our Story
I'm Jim. I'm a US military veteran — I work as a product design engineer, but the shop is where I really come alive. I started KJ Built with a laser cutter, a welder, and a simple idea: build gear for
Jeep people, by a Jeep person.
Our first product, the Duck Blind, came out of ducking culture — that tradition of leaving rubber ducks on Jeeps you admire. I wanted a way
to display them that actually looked good on the dash, so I designed and built one myself.
Everything we make is designed, cut, and finished with the same care I'd put into my own rig. Built, not bought.
